…At least that is my conclusion after the last couple of days walking round with what looks like radioactive grass on my head and the comments I was getting in the supermarket today.
The great thing about children is that unlike the adults that see my hair they say what they think and unlike adults they don’t judge or make homophobic comments on the basis of hair colour, at worst they will just declare in a loud voice, “Mummy, look at that mans strange hair!” and when I turn to smile at the kid I see a parent looking slightly embarrassed by their kid pointing out the obvious.
The only people more honest about my hair than children are drunks. The best example of this occurred a few weeks back when I started dying my hair, when I dropped in at a house party with a friend to pick up his fiancee, who upon seeing my hair slurred, “I fuckin’ hate it!”
It may have been my birthday yesterday but mine wasn’t the only one, I just had the distinction of being the oldest person whose birthday it was at Score! Before I get around to the photos here’s a birthday related puzzle for you - How many people do you have to have in a room, before you have a 50% chance of two people sharing the same birthday?The answer is at the bottom.
I’d particularly like to thank the people last night who bought me a drink for my birthday, it was a nice try to sabotage my photos, but there just weren’t enough of you to get me to drunk to take photos as you can see now that I’ve got the photos up.
And even more than the people that bought me drinks I have to thank Claire who left her house a1am after noticing me camping down at the train station and offering me one of the comfiest sofas that I’ve slept on - And I have slept on a lot of sofas!
As to the question I posed earlier the answer is that you only need a mere 23 people in the same room.
Twice a week I see this view at the moment as I head towards Temple Meads to get on a train to go to Glamorgan and as I always going there to take photos I always have a camera on me and yet for some reason* I have never snapped this view until last week.
I’ll be seeing this view again tonight as although it’s my birthday I am still heading over to Glamorgan to “work” tonight.
*Probably because I am running late and rushing to catch trains rather than admire views.
Why watch the whole film, when you can watch this and save yourself three hours? I can only think of one reason and that’s Kate Winslet and you can see her in other films.
I am in a bitter and cynical mood today and a bitter, cynical, pissed off David when combined with callers that would try the patience of a nun is only ever going to end one way, because I am a professional. I will not give in the feelings of depression and rage that 98.2% of callers instill in me, or rather I won’t until I have got the caller off of the line and what I say isn’t being recorded.

I went window shopping for the last time today, although when I say last time I mean last time this side of Christmas.
This year I am trying to be vaguely organised when it comes to Christmas this year and unlike previous years where I have done all of my Christmas shopping in 2 hours on Christmas Eve, this year I am planning to get as much possible in advance and even more cunningly I plan on not going into any shops either.
The catch having gone shopping earlier for my housemates gifts, I had to fight the urge to find out what the latest offers on Anime were and I lost that fight, although I managed to avoid actually parting with cash and buying anything for myself, but only because I now have a few suggestions as to what my housemates can get me for Christmas.
