Fast approaching 25 over the past 24 years I have been; a photographer, a call centre drone, a drag queen, an English teacher in Germany, a stand up comic and on one memorable occasion a leprechaun.
In additition to all of that I have also been a student for far too long. I am not one at the moment, but if all goes to plan I will be one again soon enough as I plan eventually swap sides of the desk and become a maths teacher, but that means another 9 months of studenthood first.
I am originally from Wiltshire and spent most of my formative years in a town called Calne (a town of which I have a low opinion), but subsequently I have lived in Bristol and Kiel, Germany- although at the moment I am back in Bristol planning to head off somewhere interesting soon…
As a photographer I have met with a little success as I have worked for various veunes and companies, so much so that in theory I am an international professional photographer. However, in reality I just enjoy taking photos and if given a chance to take photos I will. To date amongst other things I have worked for 3 student unions, a dive company and various private commissions.
I have a few dreams and ambitions and in the long run as mentioned earlier I am planning to enter the teaching profession as a secondary maths teacher. I did consider being a primary school teacher for a while, but I decided that single mums just wasn’t a good enough reason to justify that particular career move.
